Crypto projects are set to unlock about $4.5 billion in vested tokens in September, according to data tracker Tokenomist. Tokenomist data shows that about $1.17 billion will come from cliff unlocks, while $3.36 billion will be released through linear unlocks. About $4.5 billion in tokens will become available to investors, project teams and other stakeholders as vesting agreements expire. Cliff unlocks are typically larger, one-time token releases that happen at the end of a specified lockup period. This often affects the market more due to supply shocks. On the other hand, linear unlocks distribute tokens over time, which helps smooth out the…

In turn, Crypto.com will buy $50M of Trump Media stock. The new company plans to acquire 6.3B tokens right away, which is a huge…
Key Takeaways Ethereum is holding around $4,500. The ETH/BTC ratio dipped 3.7% off 0.04. But a breakout there could be the spark for altcoin season. The crypto market is sliding into a decisive week. Bitcoin [BTC] is down 0.42% midweek, showing mild weakness, while Ethereum [ETH] has taken a sharper hit, sliding 4.5% from its $4,800 open to post its first red weekly candle of August. On the dominance front, BTC.D is rebounding off 57% as ETH.D slips 3.5%. Market structure is clearly in flux. But the real question is which leg (BTC’s strength or an ETH-led rotation) asserts itself…

This blog post provides an update on our findings following the discovery of the storage corruption bug last week. In summary, the bug was much less severe than we initially thought. The small number of affected contracts we found is either only exploitable by the owner, or the exploit can only cause a disruption in the user interface and not in the actual contract logic. All exploitable contracts/dapps we reviewed can be fixed without having to upgrade the contract itself. Of course, please still check your contracts to be safe. Following the discovery of the storage corruption bug in the Solidity compiler and the realization…
What if your next crypto bet could turn a modest $5,000 into hundreds of thousands by the end of 2025? SHIB is grinding sideways with on-chain accumulation, Bonk is rallying on Solana with whale interest, but APC is in full throttle—$3.65M+ raised, limited…

Jan van Eck, the CEO of investment management firm VanEck, speculated that Ethereum will be the clear “winner” among blockchains as banks prepare for a flood of stablecoins. During an interview with Fox News Business on Wednesday, van Eck said banks and financial services will have to adopt a blockchain to handle stablecoin transactions, and he thinks Ethereum should be the one.“It’s very much what I call the Wall Street token. And what I mean by that is, if you think that because of stablecoins, now every bank and every financial services company has to have a way of taking in…
